Ride 4 Kids
This ride was a little different for our club than
the usual rides, because although there were around 1500 bikes on the run, we
were waiting at the end. Our club
volunteered to work the events in conjunction with Olive Crest. There are
advantages to this side though. We got good parking, access to all areas of the
event, free food and drink, and we got to see the ride from the other side.
This perspective makes you realize how much work is don’t by the event coordinators
and how much we take for granted.
Although we got split up a little, we got work several of the event
stations. All in all we still had a great time, though I’ve got to admin, I
rather have been on the ride.
